That could have turned out a lot worse.
Scotland entered today’s match against England in Twickenham with a new sense of confidence and belief which we haven’t seen from a Scottish side in many years.
Many were expecting Scotland to be very competitive in this match and comments coming out of their camp seem to suggest that they are confident of pulling off a shock result.
Their ambitions to do this, however, were dealt a massive blow as they were reduced to 14 men when Fraser Brown tip tackled Elliot Daly after just a few minutes on the clock.
Brown clearly lifts Daly’s right leg above the horizontal position and takes no care in attempting to reduce the English player’s impact to the ground.

The incident was reviewed with the TMO stating that “the landing is on top of the back” rather than on Daly’s neck or head.
This seemed to have resulted in the issuing of a yellow card as opposed to a red.
Scotland conceded a try almost immediately after the incident so it was definitely a costly error from the Scottish hooker who should count himself lucky that he gets the opportunity to be involved in the rest of the game.
Here is another angle.
