Speed of thought leads to sensational try.
Ireland survived a fierce start to the Second Test against South Africa and turned the match on its head by half-time.
Trailing 3-0 after the opening exchanges, Ireland went 12-3 after four unanswered Paddy Jackson penalties.
Then, seemingly out of nowhere, Ireland were over for a try. Andrew Trimble was there for the kick-chase – as he always is – and the pressure caused havoc in the Springbok defence.
The ball took a fortunate bounce forward off his forehead but he then chased it down and slapped a pass back that nutmegged Lwazi Mvovo and teed up Jared Payne for a carry.
Conor Murray found Rhys Ruddock off the next ruck and his smart play gave Devin Toner a great chance for a try.
The Leinster lock made no mistake.
