There is no such thing yet as a losing bonus point in the Six Nations.
And it is a good thing too as Morgan Parra would not be the man to trust if you were desperate for some crucial points at the deaths to get the add-on after the full-time whistle.
The Clermont Auvergne outhalf was on the field for the final moments of the Champions Cup pool clash with Bordeaux today when his side were awarded a penalty in the 80th minute, in front of the posts
The score stood at 28-37 to the visitors, and everyone watching at home understood that the Top 14 side needed just one score in the game to get a losing bonus point, and seal their place in the last 8 of the competition.
Everyone at home understood that, but the one man who had the ball in hand, Parra, decided to go for a quick tap and go to drive for the corner and try and force a try.
It did not go well.
Morgan Parra the greatest error in European rugby….. EVER!!!!!!

Considering Owen Farrel’s f**k up on Saturday, Parra really takes the award for the worst rugby fail of this millennium.
Here's the moment of madness from @MorganParraOff that cost @ASMOfficiel a @ChampionsCup quarter-final place! https://t.co/9Eqpntnutc

His mistake meant instead of booking their place in the latter stages of the Champions Cup, Clermont missed out, and Exeter instead got through.
Champions Cup Exeter 33-17 Ospreys. Chiefs top the Pool and are through! Clermont's loss also mean that Northampton Saints squeeze into QF
