It was all going so well…
Warren Gatland named his 2017 Lions squad and there were plenty of places for England, Wales and Ireland players. Scotland got two – Stuart Hogg and Tommy Seymour – but you can’t please everyone.
The #AllForOne hashtag was trending and, we were told, it was time to come together in support of four nations that had become one team.
And then there was a tweet from BT Sport that forgot to include a healthy chunk of Ireland in a Lions graphic:

Very unfortunate but surely a simple explanation for the mix up.
There was a rapid reaction and most of it called on the broadcaster to make amends, including one from @IrishRugby
We think you may have missed the point about Irish Rugby there lads. #BackToTheDrawingBoard

Others found some humour in the post.

Soon enough, the tweet was deleted and a new tweet was posted. Thankfully, it featured the entire island of Ireland:

The new version got the approval of the official Irish Rugby account.
Now you have it! 😀

All’s well that started off so messily.
#AllForOne – Take Two!
