The age profile of Ireland's squad, with an eye on the 2027 Rugby World Cup, has long been used as a stick to beat Andy Farrell and his selection policies with.
Many fans feel that Ireland will have too many players above the age of thirty by the time the game's showpiece begins in Australia on October 1, 2027.
Of course, being over 30 does not automatically weaken a player, and in many cases they are still in their prime up until 32/33.
Certain positions, particularly the front five and half-back, see players performing at a high level at a greater age.
What can be argued, however, is that the more players in or around 33 or older, does increase the likelihood of weaknesses in the team.
Below we have listed out the ages that Ireland's players will be at the 2027 World Cup (ages are rounded up and down).
