“I’m so terribly, TERRIBLY sorry!”
Conor Murray looks pretty contrite to begin with but can’t hold back the laughs when his Lions teammate Stuart Hogg cracks up.
It is excellent to see the Lions duo, who are roommates on tour this week, are able to joke about what was a terrible on-field collision.
Hogg had an accidental coming together with the elbow of Murray as he chased after his own chip, midway through the first half of the Lions’ 12-3 victory over Crusaders.
He left the pitch with help from the Lions physio and with blood streaming from a gash to his cheek. Anthony Watson replaced him and Hogg played no further part in the much-needed Lions win.
Credit:Following the game, Hogg shared a picture of himself with Crusaders fullback Israel Dagg in the changing sheds and he was already developing one hell of a shiner.

Lions head coach Warren Gatland says Hogg will have his damaged cheek look at by a specialist on Monday morning and one hopes that there is no lasting damage.
The Scottish fullback definitely appeared to be in good form, last night, though as he shared an Instagram story of roomie Murray begging his forgiveness back in the team hotel.

‘I still love my roomie’, he wrote.
One hope he still feels the same way after seeing the specialist on Monday.
