There are six Irish men in the Lions squad, one of them is the captain, and now Brian O’Driscoll has joined up forces with the British and Irish Lions to provide them with their jerseys for the big game on Friday.
It’s an Irish takeover down in New Zealand.
The Lions take on New Zealand in Eden Park on Saturday and it’s set to be a cracker.
Warren Gatland’s side have rounded in to form at exactly the right time with impressive victories over The Crusaders and the Maori All Blacks respectively in their last two warm-up games.
When all is said and done, the results of these warm-up games don’t matter, however. It’s all down to the three tests they will play against the All Blacks.
That’s how the success or failure of a Lions tour is guaged.
The matchday 23 were presented with their jerseys for Saturday’s all-important clash with the All Blacks on Friday morning in New Zealand.
It was certainly a special moment for Ireland’s five members of the panel as it was a smiling Brian O’Driscoll who provided them with their jersey.

This was surely a memorable moment for all squad members but it will have been particularly noteworthy for the Irish lads.
One of the countries greatest ever rugby players presenting you with a jersey is surely one of the best ways possible to nail home the significance of your achievements in getting so far, and in furthering your desire to win.
You’d be proud to be Irish.
