Stop you’re killing us
Just for a very brief moment we’re going to enter the realm of popular culture, so please do excuse us but it is a matter of international importance.
No, it’s not another revelation from the Fifa or the FAI, but the gentle, or maybe not so gentle slagging that is currently sweeping the internet between the natural heir to Dickie Rock, Niall Horan from One Direction, and Wales outhalf Mike Phillips
The somehow popular boyband are playing the Millennium stadium tonight and Phillips decided to have a little fun at the Westmeath man’s expense.
Still can't believe we are playing the millennium stadium tonight … One of the best in the world especially for the rugby !

One Direction at Millennium Stadium 50,000
Mike Phillips at Millienium Stadium 74,000 @NiallOfficial— Mike Phillips (@mikephillips009) June 5, 2015
The two do have previous as Rob Kearney previously had to intervene on behalf of the singer when Phillips challenged Horan to come down to Wales training and insult him to his face
Mike Philips is like a child throwing his toys out of the pram! his attitude is terrible, looks like a right arrogant idiot

.@NiallOfficial come down to training in the week big boy. Bring the rest of The Beatles with you

@mikephillips009 don't worry @NiallOfficial – I've got your back!!
