We would love to get our hands on this.
The new rugby season brings about a whole clatter of fresh jerseys and training gear. Judging from the latest pictures emerging from the west, Connacht fans will be spoiled for choice.
Each of the provinces are getting their gear manufactured by different companies – Leinster [Canterbury], Ulster [Kukri], Connacht [BLK] and Munster [adidas] – so there is a wide variety to chose from.
Connacht and BLK have, between them, produced some class training kit for the season ahead. Their standard training top – as modelled by Darragh Leader [below] – is all sorts of azure and turquoise lushness.
And the training singlet, for those glorious, sunny Galway days, is not bad either.
However, the training jersey that caught our eye is an absolutely beauty and one that will surely be in high demand.
BLK has produced a class, basketball-style top with Connacht boldly printed across the front. Winger Tiernan O’Halloran was recently up for media interviews and gave the new top a good airing.
We have not spotted the basketball top on the Elverys site but we are sure public demand will soon see to that.
Top work all round.
