Back to the scene of one of their greatest days.

That is the potential reward for Munster should they see off Toulouse in Saturday’s Champions Cup quarter-final. The chance to play “at home” in Aviva Stadium.

It is 11 years since they faced Leinster in the last four at the old Lansdowne Road, putting their great rivals to the sword on a memorable Dublin afternoon.

Due to play the winners of Saracens and Glasgow in the last-four, Munster – should they beat Toulouse – will welcome the holders to Dublin if they see off Glasgow. However, if the Scottish side win, Munster will be on the road to Edinburgh.

Meanwhile, Leinster know they are going to have to travel to France regardless, should they beat Wasps on Saturday.

“If Leinster are up against Clermont, the semi-final will be staged at the Matmut Stadium de Gerland, however, if Toulon provide the opposition, then the game will be played at the Allianz Riviera Stadium,” reads the EPCR statement.

Here are all the potential knockout fixtures.

SF 1: if ASM Clermont Auvergne v Leinster Rugby – Matmut Stadium de Gerland (Lyon)
