Mixed news for Munster with their team to secure coveted Champions Cup final spot

Five changes in total

Stand up and fight!

Munster are just one win away from walking out on that Murrayfield pitch on May 13 for the Champions Cup final. In order to get there though, they’ll have to really earn it as they take on the mighty Saracens in the Aviva Stadium on Saturday.

This is what this competition is for – to test yourselves against the cream of the crop. It’s just unfortunate that Munster will be down a star for the game in Conor Murray. The scrum-half was expected to miss the crunch tie following Warren Gatland’s comments and this was confirmed in the official team announcement. Duncan Williams will take up the number nine role.

The good news is that Lion CJ Stander will make the trip to Dublin. He has recovered from the ankle injury he sustained against Toulouse and will start at number eight.
