Victorious Lions dressing room looked like the absolute craic

Bopping away to the trad music

That Joe Marler lad can move but it didn’t impress Peter O’Mahony too much.

The Lions are back to winning ways and, boy, did they enjoy it in the post-match dressing room.

Conor Murray and Sean O’Brien were two of the Lions’ true stars as the Test Series was levelled at 1-1 so perhaps they were allowed to select the music.

Following their 24-21 loss at ‘The Cake Tin’, camera access was once again allowed into the All Blacks dressing room.

Captain Kieran Read shook the hands of every teammate, as did coach Steve Hansen, while a disconsolate Beauden Barrett was sipping a recovery drink at his seat.

In the Lions’ dressing room, it was all kicking off.

The players stayed out on the pitch for several minutes after the game and soaked in the adulation, and rain, after a hard-fought win.

Typically, like he has for most of the tour, James Haskell was the chronicler in chief of all the craic.

The Wasps and England flanker has a nice little Instagram story of how the Second Test unfolded and he shared a lovely clip or two from the winning dressing room. After celebrating with BIL, the Lions mascot, Haskell was there when the Irish lads banged on some trad music.

England prop Joe Marler was loving it but Peter O’Mahony, sipping a beer beside him, kept his composure.

Lions captain Sam Warburton was calm and cool in his post-match interviews and he hardly went nuts celebrating once the TV cameras and dictaphones were packed away.

Jesus, relax there Sam.
