Johnny Sexton out as Leinster and Munster name teams

Conan Doherty

Leinster and Munster have named their teams for the Pro 14 semi-final.

The two provinces will lock horns for one last time this season on Saturday in the RDS at 3.15pm.

Fresh from the Champions Cup celebrations, Leinster will have a menacing Munster awaiting them to not only try and sober them up but to take one step closer to capturing the final piece of silverware of the season.

The game in Dublin 4 is already sold out and to the victors goes a place in the decider at the Aviva against either Glasgow or Scarlets.

But Leinster have been handed a huge blow with news that Johnny Sexton hasn’t made it back on time from his strain in Bilbao. Robb Byrne comes into the fly half position whilst Joey Carbery plays at full back instead of Rob Kearney with Jordan Larmour and James Lowe on either wing.

It means they are operating without Leavy, Fardy, Henshaw, Kearney and Sexton.
