The original fixture was called off following the tragic passing of Munster head coach Anthony Foley.
Following the cancellation of the original fixture, on October 16, legions of Munster supporters showed up at Stade Yves du Manoir to pay tribute to follow and sing team anthems in a marvellous show of solidarity with all involved at the club.

There is set to be some fixture juggling for Munster as their Champions Cup pool stage tie with Racing 92 appears to have a new date.
Rassie Erasmus’ side, it has been reported by Le Parisien, will play the Top 14 outfit on Friday, January 6.
This means the PRO12 powers that be will have to rearrange Munster’s league clash with Edinburgh, which had initially been scheduled for January 7. The likelihood is the PRO12 game will move to either the last weekend of January or the first weekend of February.
It will also mean Munster will have three weekends of consecutive Champions Cup action – Racing [away], Glasgow [away] and Racing [home].
Racing’s Top 14 clash with Bayonne would then move to a free weekend during the Six Nations championship.
