We were clinging to the one fitness boost of Johnny Sexton’s inclusion in Joe Schmidt’s team to play Argentina on Sunday but then came the distressing update from the IRFU that the out-half pulled up during training on Friday.
Sexton is out, Ian Madigan will start and Irish rugby fans can’t seem to believe their bad luck.
