Bringing out the big guns.
When it rains [good news], it pours.
The IRFU are going out with guns blazing in an effort to secure the hosting rights to the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
The union celebrated the announcement, on Wednesday, that Dublin and Belfast will play host to the 2017 Women’s World Cup.
Today, they have added Ireland’s greatest player to their armoury for a bid that will hopefully bring the world’s biggest rugby tournament to our shores.
