Here’s a pro-tip for any budding rugby players – don’t get in Iain Henderson’s way.
When Iain Henderson belted out ‘shoulder to shoulder’ prior to Ireland’s Guinness series clash against South Africa in Dublin’s Aviva stadium, he bloody meant it.
The Ulster forward put in the hard yards in the opening half against a sub-par South Africa. His highlight in the first 40 minutes was undoubtedly a ferocious shoulder barge on Springboks captain Eben Etzebeth.
Etzebeth sprinted across to try to stop Henderson in his tracks, but the Irishman dropped the shoulder and forced his way through the attempted tackle. After a brief stumble, he continued his run before eventually being brought down.

Another Ireland international who had a phenomenal opening period was CJ Stander.
The number eight really rose to the occasion against his country of birth with a superb turnover being his stand-out moment from the first half.
His stunning work in the breakdown left Siya Kolisi with no option but to cling onto the ball with all his might and concede the penalty.
The Boys In Green are up for this, there’s no doubt about it.
