There’s not long to go now until Joe Schmidt’s warriors take to the field in their World Cup opener against Canada.
But first they have the chance to repeat the dominant performance they put on against Wales in their warm-up game three weeks ago when they welcome Warren Gatland’s side to the Aviva this weekend.
Conor Murray and Sean O’Brien are all but guaranteed seats on the short flight to England when Ireland can attempt to improve on their previous World Cup best of reaching the quarter-finals while Cian Healy will require a late fitness test to learn how much of a part he can play in Schmidt’s plans.
The trio took part in a Lucozade Sport photoshoot this week with American photographer Zach Gold, famous for shooting LeBron James, David Beckham and 50 Cent, while he worked his magic in a disused Dublin factory.
