Leinster drawn in the proverbial ‘group of death’ this morning.
The Irish face a nightmare pool in the Champions Cup, after being drawn alongside Bath, Wasps and competition holders Toulon. Leinster, who have yet to name a new head coach, face an arduous task to progress to the quarter-finals, and will have to overcome a familiar opponent in the shape of Paul O’Connell, who’ll be lining out for Toulon.
Leinster winger Fergus McFadden perfectly summed up the shock and horror of being in the ‘group of death’ with this Twitter picture posted earlier today from the Royal Ascot racecourse.
