Well, that was quite something from New Zealand, wasn’t it?
The British and Irish Lions have far from impressed in their opening four matches, and after the All Blacks’ latest performance they need to be afraid. Be very afraid.
Steve Hansen’s side blitzed Samoa, scoring 12 tries in their 78-0 rout in Auckland on Friday and it sent a serious warning sign to Warren Gatland and co.
Beauden Barrett scored twice, as did Julien Savea, and there was a total of ten different try scorers.
It really doesn’t bode well for Gatland’s side and a lot of people were having the same reaction after the match.
If anyone would like to tell me that the Lions' don't need to score tries against the All Blacks.
I'm all ears.

-So, professor, would you say it's time for every Lions fan to panic?

And with the final whistle the big plasma tv in the hotel of the Lions gets turned off. Not a word spoken. Bed time.

All Blacks looked a little rusty against Somoa 😬. Think the only way to beat them next weekend is using actual Lions. #LionsNZ2017

Peter O’Mahony will captain the Lions on Saturday morning against the Maori All Blacks as they look to get their tour back on track, before the first Test on 24 June in Auckland.
