Is there anything CJ Stander can’t do?
The man-mountain is on his 100th cap for Munster. The province are taking on Leinster in their biggest game of the PRO14 so far this season.
Their starting hooker Niall Scannell had been sin-binned early on in the game for a deliberate knock on, and a lineout came the way of the province, who was going to step up and take it? Who was going to do something that they definitely hadn’t prepared for? Who was going to put their neck on the line?
CJ Stander was that man. It wasn’t the lineout throw of a number 8 who has never tried that skill before, it wasn’t flawless either, but Robin Copeland, one of the three Munster men contesting for it managed to claim the ball.

Sensational stuff from Stander.
Minutes later, replacement hooker Rhys Marshall came on for Tommy O’Donnell when Munster had to go in for a scrum so it’s unlikely Stander will have to test his throwing powers again in this game, but it’s good to know he has the ability if needs be.
Some people really enjoyed that Stander throw.
Dad currently having a seizure from his love of @CJStander and his ability to do it all! Sure who needs the other 14 🙄😂(or 13atm 🙄) #LEIMUN pic.twitter.com/y6FcXkjeZK

Rassie Erasmus’ men went into the interval trailing Leinster by seven points on a scoreline of 14-7, and they have plenty of work to do in the RDS if they wish to come out on top.
