Was that defeat to Argentina the call for change that Ireland needed?
Many believe that an overhaul is needed with fresher legs to be brought into Joe Schmidt’s team and one such advocate of that theory is Leinster legend Brian O’Driscoll.
O’Driscoll believes that 20-year-old centre Garry Ringrose should be given the chance in the international set-up after taking to Leinster’s senior team like a duck to water.
.@IrishRugby could do a whole lot worse than going with Garry Ringrose against Wales on Feb 7th.

Ringrose has been compared to O’Driscoll in terms of playing style and the way that both burst onto the scene with the reputation as exciting gamechangers, and O’Driscoll is one of the youngster’s biggest supporters.
Ringrose set up the opening try for Leinster during their 24-7 victory over Munster on Sunday evening at Thomond Park and many see him as Ireland’s future centre but a debut against Wales in the Six Nations would certainly be a daunting start to international life.
