It seems a staff member opened a door the wrong way and put a hole in the wall

The Australian Rugby Union have come out this morning and to clear up the the speculation surrounding reports that thousands of euro worth of damage was done to the away dressing room at the Aviva last Saturday.

While it was speculated that an angry Australian took their frustration out in the locker-room after the 26-23 defeat to Ireland but a more mundane reason has been put forward for the damage.

It seems that doors open the other way down under and that when pushed the wrong way by a staff member the hinges broke and a bolt shot through the wall causing a hole.

It must be some hole and hinge to cost a few thousand euro.
