Khabib Nurmagomedov is not happy with his likenesses’ celebration animation in EA Sports UFC 2.
The number two-ranked UFC lightweight has slammed EA Sports for how they depicted his post-fight celebration in the game. Nurmagomedov is a practicing Muslim and he hinted on Twitter that the way his likeness celebrates in the game is disrespectful to his Muslim fans.
I'm a MUSLIM and not Baptized. Please @EASPORTSUFC edit my after fight celebration. I have a lot of Muslim fans and you have to respect it.

However, this complaint is an incredibly strange one as his character’s celebration is move-for-move the exact same as one he has already performed inside the Octagon after defeating Thiago Tavares at UFC on FX 7. Not only that, but it doesn’t appear in any way to disrespect his Muslim faith in any way.
Update: We’ve discovered the celebration Khabib has taken issue with. One post-fight animation sees his likeness give himself a Christian blessing after being named the winner.
His issue is not, as one Twitter user thought, the fact that you can play with his character during Ramadan.
