The tension is almost at breaking point.
There is only one thing that SportsJOE will accurately predict in 2015. Either Conor McGreor or Jose Aldo will have their head knocked clean-off in July when the two finally meet in the UFC featherweight title fight in Las Vegas. That’s the only guarantee we can make after the escalating tension between both men on the world tour at the moment promoting the fight.
This week we’ve seen verbal sparring between both men and now according to Dana White it may have to physical too. McGregor has been warned several times not to lay a hand on the Brazilian but it seems he just couldn’t help himself according to Dana White.
The UFC President said in an interview that the Dubliner slapped Aldo in the back before a morning show in Toronto. White said the incident came after a producer on the show was arranging where both men would sit,
‘He’s trying to put Conor McGregor in a seat behind [Aldo] and Conor McGregor reached over and slapped Aldo’s back. And now Aldo is crazy and doesn’t want to do most the stuff we have to do today. It’s been fun.’
White also stated the bleeding obvious when asked about the relationship between both men,
‘Jose Aldo does not like Conor McGregor, and Conor McGregor is good at pushing his buttons.’
White sat beside both men for the TV appearance and they managed to behave fairly well on the show.
