UFC president Dana White says he doesn’t see how Conor McGregor can beat Rafael dos Anjos

Not that he needs any more self-belief, but Conor McGregor won’t be filled with confidence after Dana White’s latest comments on his upcoming fight.

‘The Notorious’ moves up to 155 lbs for his next bout, the main event of UFC 196, to take on reigning lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos.

Dos Anjos looked far from impressive when he first burst onto the UFC scene. He lost two, won three, lost one and won one. That early 4-3 UFC record showed all the signs of a bang average lightweight.

But since then, the Brazilian has gone 10-1 which is undoubtedly a champion’s form.

So McGregor’s UFC lightweight debut is a daunting one. Just how daunting?

Well, UFC Dana White has been quoted as saying that he actually doesn’t see how McGregor dethrones dos Anjos on March 5th.

While watching this, we should keep in mind that 99.9% of what White says must be taken with a grain of salt as his job is to make fights as intriguing as possible so as to maximise pay-per-view buys. Just sayin’.
