It’s three months away yet but it’s probably worth having a word with your boss that you won’t be making it into work on Monday, 14 December.
Conor McGregor fans heading over to Las Vegas for his featherweight title unification bout against Jose Aldo will have the chance to turn their trip into an all out fight-fest with the news that the finale of TUF 22: Team Europe v Team U.S.A. has been scheduled for the night before UFC 194.

This season of The Ultimate Fighter sees McGregor and Urijah Faber go head-to-head as coaches of their respective teams and the lightweight tournament winner will be decided at the Palms in Las Vegas on December 10.
The rehydration process, as well as focusing on the biggest fight of his life, will likely mean that McGregor will not be in the corner of his fighter if a European contestant is to make it to the final but members of his coaching staff ought to be present.
Two fights have already been added to the card and they’re pretty good as far as TUF finale cards go with a guaranteed Fight of the Night between lightweights Joe Lauzon and Evan Dunham while Ryan LaFlare takes on Mike Pierce at 170 lbs.
TUF 22 premieres on September 9 and you can follow all the action on BT Sport.
