The UFC’s super card has just gotten a tad more super.
After the stellar additions to UFC 200 on Wednesday night, Thursday has seen yet another intriguing match-up confirmed for the most anticipated UFC event in years.
‘Super’ Sage Northcutt is the latest name to be handed a fight on the July 9 card, with a bout against Enrique Marin, the 8-3 fighter who is searching for his first UFC victory.

Northcutt had enjoyed a perfect start to his promotional career by stopping both Francisco Trevino and Cody Pfsiter in late 2015 before coming unstuck against Bryan Barberena in January, Northcutt’s first career loss.
Touted as a future star, the gloss somewhat came off of Northcutt following that unexpected defeat but the 20-year-old will be hoping to get his career back on track this summer.
The bout takes place at welterweight and will likely be one of the Fight Pass prelims on the card which currently looks like this.
- Conor McGregor vs. Nate Diaz
- Jose Aldo vs. Frankie Edgar – for interim featherweight title
- Travis Browne vs. Cain Velasquez
- Kelvin Gastelum vs. Johny Hendricks
- Derek Brunson vs. Gegard Mousasi
- Joe Lauzon vs. Diego Sanchez
- Takanori Gomi vs. Jim Miller
- Enrique Marin vs. Sage Northcutt
