First Arnie, and now Jean Claude Van Damme is lavishing praise on Conor McGregor ahead of his title fight with Jose Aldo next month.

The ‘Muscles from Brussels’ is very impressed by the Dubliner, and speaking to Bruce Buffer tonight on FoxSports on the “IT’S TIME!!!” podcast, the action star has some advice for the Notorious.

The Belgian was speaking about the lack of a well known world martial artist, and had some big praise for the UFC man who he feels has something that no other UFC fighter has at the moment,

“He’s hungry, it’s new for him and he appreciate the money with a big smile and he says it out loud and he’s living a very great adventure.”

“This is the time when you go from nothing to being bored  I’m advising him to enjoy every second.”

“It’s going to be hard to beat him and he’s fighting with this and his technique and his height plus he’s got the Irish people behind them.”

“He creates a connection,a soul connection with him and the audience and he wants to be loved”

Van Damme also told the podcast that he feels that McGregor could become a film star, and he would not be surprised if the Irishman made a breakthrough into cinema

“McGregor is always going to be moving a step forward. He likes to elevate himself in fighting and him being a movie star is a true warrior.”

“He’ll make a film or two or three film for sure because he wants to touch everything and in his heart he is a true warrior.”

He speaks in details about why he also thinks that McGregor may have the edge on Aldo on July 11th in their world title fight.
