Let it all out, Joey.
Joe Rogan is, as usual, on the ball with his emotional response to the breaking news on Tuesday morning that UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos had withdrawn from UFC 196 with a foot injury.
Rogan had made no secret about his excitement for the March 5th main event, animatedly expressing his curiosity about how well Conor McGregor’s power would translate to 155 lbs for his lightweight title shot.
But that fight is no more and the UFC commentator couldn’t hold back the expletives as he learned that one of the most intriguing match-ups of 2016 had fallen by the wayside.
“Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck FUUUUUCK! @cameronrhanesbroke the news to me this morning. Man, I was looking forward to this one.”
For Joe’s sake more than anything, we hope that McGregor gets a replacement and that it’s a good ‘un.
