We can’t say we blame anyone for turning down a fight with the very imposing figure of Gabi Garcia.
The 6 ft 2 in, 200 lbs+ BJJ black belt is one of the most intimidating women on the planet and since her crossover to mixed martial arts on New Years Eve, she is struggling to find opponents.
Garcia made her MMA debut at Rizin in Japan at the turn of the year, stopping her opponent in the first round, and she pushed her record to 2-0 with a submission victory over Anna Malyukova in April.

Even after her recent fitness regime that’s left her in incredible shape, the Brazilian dwarfs most of her male counterparts and she’s become so short of challengers that her coach, UFC and Strikeforce veteran Renato ‘Babalu’ Sobral claims that a man may be next up for Garcia.
Speaking to TMZ, ‘Babalu’ said: “In my opinion, a year from now, I think (if) they don’t have any more girls, I think the only chance is for some man to fight her. And they better watch out, because they’re gonna get knocked out by a girl.”
The same report claims that sources close to TMZ have knowledge of a potential male opponent being lined up for Garcia in Japan.
Surely that can’t legitimately happen, as much as we’d fancy Gabi’s chances against anyone.
