The world has gone mad for Conor McGregor
Or at least it seems that way today. You can hardly turn on a radio or a TV station without discussion of tonight’s fight on station’s that have never previously embraced MMA.
On top of that, thousands of Irish fans have travelled to Las Vegas to get behind McGregor, while we’ve seen backing for The Notorious coming from rock royalty in the form of U2
And now Celtic Football Club have issued their support for McGregor as he prepares to face Ched mendes in the MGM Grand.
Good Luck for your fight tonight @TheNotoriousMMA #UFC189! (NM)

It’s not just giant football club’s in Scotland backing McGregor, however.
Giants of the teen pop music world are also getting behind the Dubliner.
I won't be able to watch @ufc 189 tonight , hope there will be highlights on somewhere after the show ! @TheNotoriousMMA

And then some genuine giants of the wrestling/acting/white teeth game.
@TheNotoriousMMA @gameofwar You ain't ready for this Fire Age beat down. Get after it tonight brotha. Pullin' for ya champ.

You didn’t really think that Paul McGrath wouldn’t have his say, did you?
