Donald Cerrone will finally fight for UFC title, meets Rafael dos Anjos in December

The UFC are putting a stamp on a ridiculously successful 2015 with the lightweight title fight that everybody wants to see.

Champion Rafael dos Anjos bids to defend his 155 lb strap for the first time on the UFC's final card of the year against fan favourite Donald Cerrone. Cowboy is one of the most popular fighters on the UFC roster and is looking for revenge against RDA who handed Cerrone his last loss via unanimous decision two years ago. The fight takes place in Orlando on December 19 and will be the first time that Donald Cerrone has been given a shot at UFC gold, despite going 15-3 in his UFC career. Earlier this week Cowboy had threatened to move up to welterweight to get a fight if Dos Anjos wasn't ready by the end of the year but that won't be necessary as the UFC have managed to put together the perfect fight to close out the year.
