‘You can’t always get what you want, but if you try sometimes you get what you need.’
So sang The Rolling Stones. And like a rolling stone, Dana White is gathering no moss.
White has completed the UFC 200 main card by pairing former bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw with Raphael Assuncao. Dillashaw lost a split decision to the Brazilian in October 2013 in a duel that won Fight of the Night honours.
Assuncao has been sidelined with injury for the past 21 months but could fling himself into the bantamweight title picture by taking out the former champion.
News of the rematch was broken on UFC Tonight, last week, and the promotion made the official announcement late on Tuesday.

White had told reporters that he was planning on adding one more fight to the already gargantuan UFC 200 card. It looks as though Dillashaw-Assuncao II is that fight there could always be space for one more.
That means, as if we needed further confirmation, there is no room for Conor McGregor’s planned rematch with Nate Diaz.
On May 1, John Kavanagh, McGregor’s coach, commented that he expects his fighter’s next bout to be at UFC 201 [set for July 30] or UFC 202 in August.
