Dana White has been much more open to suggestions in recent weeks.
Conor McGregor requested a change to the UFC 196 poster and he got his wish, with White saying “you know what? You’re right, Conor. All right, we’ll do it.”
And it sounds like Jose Aldo is the latest fighter to benefit from the UFC president’s benevolence as White has revealed to ESPN Brazil that he’s in talks with Aldo to put together his next fight.
“I love Jose. I’ll call him today (Wednesday) and we’ll talk to decide who’s next for him,” said White.
The reporter had the wherewithal to ask White whether what’s “next for him” would be a title fight.
“Yes,” he answered.
Aldo recently gave the promotion an ultimatum in which he stated that the only fight that he would accept would be a title fight, or a rematch with Conor McGregor.

And it certainly sounds like he got his way.
