Conor McGregor offers up his usual ‘Mystic Mac’ prediction after opponent switch-up

The latest peek into his crystal ball

It’s an aspect of the pre-fight build-up that fans anticipate just as much as the bout itself.

Conor McGregor’s Nostradamus-esque predictions have become legendary, not least for the fact that they always seem to be pretty on the money.

With Nate Diaz replacing the injured Rafael dos Anjos as McGregor’s next opponent, ‘The Notorious’ has had to revise his thoughts on the outcome of UFC 196’s main event.

And for the trusting fans who fancy a flutter based on the utterances of ‘Mystic Mac,’ here’s what he’s expecting come March 5.

He said: “I feel his repetitive foot patterns and his pull motions are too readable, too predictable. He will be too slow in there.

“The speed will stifle him. His soft body and his lack of preparation, he will not be able to handle the ferocity.

“End of the first, I feel he will be put away.

“I respect Nate. Don’t get me wrong, I do respect Nate. There are a lot of pussies in this game and he’s not one of them. So don’t get me wrong, there’s a respect there between us but it’s business in there and business is business.

“He will be KO-ed inside the first round.”
