We were left baffled too and after scratching off a number of possibilities as to what on earth the interim featherweight champion could be talking about – including a reference to S Club 7, being a huge fan of Cristiano Ronaldo and mocking the number of UFC fights that Jose Aldo has under his belt, we think it comes down to money.
McGregor reportedly made $500,000 for fighting Chad Mendes at UFC 189 but would have come out with much more with his performance bonus and sponsorship money.

After much deliberation around the office, we’ve arrived at the conclusion that this suggests that McGregor is expecting the UFC to start offering him $10,000,000 from here on out which would be an unprecedented purse.
Dana White has revealed in the past that the highest ever single payout to a fighter was $5 million but now that the UFC are making more money than ever, it doesn’t seem like the most far-fetched notion to see McGregor receive eight figures.
