Robbie Lawler, Georges St-Pierre, even Floyd Mayweather’s name is in the mix.

There has been no shortage of names being linked with a mega-fight with Conor McGregor.

‘The Notorious’ and his willingness to fight anyone, anywhere has made the UFC’s job very easy as he is essentially not bothered who he is matched up with.

The issue came up during Thursday afternoon’s press conference and McGregor came up with yet another of his gems when asked which dream fight most interested him.

“The dream fight,” McGregor mused.

“There isn’t really any. I’d love to fight myself if I really could.

“Imagine the numbers that would do if there was two of me.”

Numbers and money were a recurring theme throughout the final UFC 196 press conference in Las Vegas, with McGregor taking shots at the recent payslips of Diaz.

“2015 was its [UFC’s] biggest year,” McGregor said. “Who was 2015? That was everything got to do with me.

“Even look at Nate’s last fight… $20,000 to show/$20,000 to win. Not even a win bonus. His full cheque wasn’t even a performance of the night bonus.

“Now he’s after popping his cherry and he’s going to make his first million.

“He really should be thankful and grateful for this opportunity that I’m giving him.”
