For UFC fighters, compliments from Conor McGregor can be hard to come by.
Just watch the trash-talking exhibition put on by The Notorious at Friday’s Go Big event and you’ll see that he seldom has a kind word to say about anyone within 25 lbs of his weight division.
But McGregor is a massive fan of UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson and he made that abundantly clear as he broke down the main event of UFC 191 which saw Johnson retain his 125 lb belt.

Having arrived home last night, McGregor must have stayed awake into the wee hours of Sunday morning as he was up and about by the time Johnson and challenger John Dodson took to the octagon at around 6 A.M.
The Notorious engaged in a short spot of livetweeting as he analysed the strengths and weaknesses of Mighty Mouse before explaining how highly he rates Johnson and head coach Matt Hume.
I LOVE the Mighty one. His entries into the legs, his fence work, his hit and rolls into opposite stance. All beautiful… — Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) September 6, 2015
…I’d love to see him clean up his shot selection with his kicking game and find his patience when his opponent is backed up on the fence.

Demetrius and Hume are two of the all time great coach and fighter teams there has ever been in this sport. — Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) September 6, 2015
His considered skill breakdown proves that there’s a career in analysis for him when McGregor decides to hang up his gloves.
