With a nickname like ‘The Big Easy’ Ernie Els certainly made this look difficult.
The world number 218 had a nightmare start to The Masters as he recorded the worst score in the history of the tournament with a difficult-to-watch sextuple-bogey 10.
It didn’t look like he was going to require seven putts after he drove the ball 288 yards to the fairway and everything looked to be going somewhat to plan.
Els’ second came just short of the green and the third set him up for a straightforward putt.
Then this happened.
INCREDIBLE!! @TheBig_Easy suffers a NIGHTMARE at #TheMasters hitting a 10 on a par 4. #GoingForGreen #Golf pic.twitter.com/ef9brhINM5

It was genuinely unbelievable and anybody who’s ever felt the pressure of having every attempted putt go worse than the previous can sympathise with the South African.
He made 10. There wasn’t enough space in the graphic to fit THREE of his putts. pic.twitter.com/3wKYbaIasP
