Not long to go now
We are on the cusp of yet another US Masters. A fortnight from today we’ll be hearing how nobody has ever won the Par 3 tournament and then won the actual tournament and our timelines will be flooded by shots of azaleas, dogwoods and more flora than a Western Mail front page.
What we really want to know is where will Rory McIlroy be come Sunday evening and if he is in Butler’s Cabin having an awkward chat with Bubba Watson, then we are laughing as he will have completed the career slam and he’ll be one win away from holding all four Majors at once.
We are getting ahead of ourselves there but we genuinely can’t remember the last time we looked forward to a tournament this much, and we always relish the Masters.
To feed that excitement, Nike have released what their players will be wearing at Augusta so here, without any Gok Wan-esque comments on the clobber themselves, here you go.
They have also released what Tiger Wooods will be wearing. As it is, we are unclear if he will even tee it up, never mind even make it to the weekend.
We dearly hope he does though, as seeing him and Rory battle it out over the back nine at Augusta on Sunday would be sporting heaven.
