Who needs a green jacket?
Don’t get your hopes up for any late Irish surge up the leaderboard in the final round but Shane Lowry gave us all something to shout about with a hole-in-one at the par-3 16th hole on day four of the 2016 Masters.
Lowry enjoyed a dream opening round but the tournament got away from him in the proceeding three days.
However, the Offaly man ensured he’d go out on a high by breaking out an ace towards the end of his back nine on Sunday evening.
Lowry and his trusty 8 iron guided the ball 181 yards to the pin and saw it drain into the hole in front of a delighted Augusta crowd.
Hon Shane!
A dream come true.
