McIlroy secured his place in the match play finals with one hell of an eagle.
The Down native dropped a monstrous 44-foot putt on the final hole to defeat Jim Furyk and march on to the finals.
McIlroy was trailing by a stroke on the 16th hole but two consecutive birdies followed by that magnificent eagle was enough to see him through to the final stage against Gary Woodland.
