Scottie Scheffler is the bookmakers' favourite to win the US PGA Championship (7/2, odds via Paddy Power and are correct at the time of writing).
The world number 1 comes into the tournament in great form and won the first major of the year at Augusta National last month when he won the Masters.
Rory McIlroy, however, is also expected to be in contention. The Northern Irishman won the US PGA Championship at the Valhalla course back in 2014.
McIlroy also comes into the tournament in great form, after he won the Wells Fargo Championship last weekend, recording an incredible final round to finish on -17.
McIlroy will tee off from the 10th tee at 1:15 pm Irish and UK time on Thursday alongside Dustin Johnson and Justin Rose.
Elsewhere, Shane Lowry will tee off from the first tee at 6:18 pm alongside Nicolai Hojgaard and Jason Day.
Padraig Harrington, the other Irish golfer involved, will tee off at the first tee at 7:35 pm alongside Patrick Reed and Sam Burns.
