Seems some other fella by the same name has made quite a name for himself Stateside, but Ireland’s Olympic golfer is ploughing his own furrow down in Mississippi this weekend.
With many of the tour’s biggest stars in China chasing the big money in Shanghai on the WGC HASBC Champions Tour, Web.com Tour graduates like Power are eyeing small numbers and big paydays.
A three-under 69 on top of his opening round 65 has the Waterford professional in a great position at the halfway point, just two shots off the lead held by Grayson Murray and celebrating making his first PGA cut.
