Another bitter pill for Rory to swallow.
Rory McIlroy has narrowly missed out on a win at the BMW PGA Championship after Billy Horschel sunk a sublime eagle putt during a three-way playoff to win at Wentworth.
A spectacular eagle putt on the 17th put McIlroy as co-leader with Thriston Lawrence in the clubhouse.
WOW RORY!!

A birdie on the par-5 18th would have won it for the Northern Irishman, but a mistake on his approach left him needing to recover with an up and down for par, which he managed to do.
American Billy Horschel, on the other hand, secured the birdie he needed on the last hole to force a three-way playoff at Wentworth.
Lawrence took himself out of the contest halfway through the first playoff hole, after he found the water out of the bunker.
It was then left to the Irishman and the American, who were both neck and neck after their drives and approach shots on the second play off hole.
Rory went first on the green, and rolled his putt for eagle just past the hole.
Horschel stepped up next and sunk what looked like at least a ten foot putt.
Incredible golf from both players. McIlroy will be gutted to fall short again just a week after narrowly missing out on the Irish Open.
