The PGA Tour have produced a great video that documents Rory McIlroy’s stunning, three-week run during the summer that catapulted him back to the top of the golfing world.
McIlroy won The British Open, Bridgestone WGC Invitational and USPGA championship on consecutive Sundays to answer any of the doubts that may have surfaced during long, winless stretches of 2013.
Rickie Fowler, who McIlroy beat into second during his two Major wins and outplayed at the Ryder Cup, declares McIlroy’s remarkable run to be ‘possibly the best three week stretch of golf ever played’.
