PIC: The biggest bunker at this week’s Open is in someone’s backyard

Good luck trying to get out of that

Forget a sandwedge

The home of golf, also known as St Andrews, hosts this year’s Open championship and we can’t wait for the action to start on Thursday.

Bunkers, lots and lots of bunkers, make for a wonderful major, and despite Rory McIlroy’s absence we can’t wait to see if Tiger can regain his form or is Jordan Spieth has the nerve to win another massive event.

The Old Course has 112 sandtraps, but we doubt any of them are as deep as this monster which was spotted by Luke Donald in the back of someone’s house.

It’s not so much a backyard as a ‘backbunker’ with some grass thrown in.

If it’s not a bunker then the house must have seriously big cat.
