The changing of the guard is complete
First he joined Tiger Woods as the face of Nike’s golf empire, then he seized control of the No.1 spot in golf’s world rankings with what appears to be an iron grip.
Now Rory McIlroy has cemented his status as golf’s next global superstar by succeeding Tiger as the face of EA Sports’ PGA Tour game for 2015.
Here’s the cover for the new game, called Rory McIlroy PGA Tour and due for release in June:

McIlroy said in a statement: “I’m very proud and humbled to see my face and name on EA Sports Rory McIlroy PGA Tour. This is a great honour, and something I couldn’t even dream of growing up playing the sport. I really hope people enjoy the game and I’m very glad I can be a part of it.”
