The Monday finish was a result of poor weather over the weekend, with Knox and McDowell tied on 19 under from Sunday evening.
McDowell ended yesterday after 13 holes and he looked on course for a tight finish when he bogeyed the 16th this afternoon to drop him to -18.
Scot Knox is man in form after winning last week's WGC-HSBC Champions event and was the man to catch as held a one-shot advantage over the former US Open champion heading towards the clubhouse.

McDowell held his nerve, though, to head to the clubhouse on 18 under, with all the pressure on Knox who needed just a par on 18 to win but landed his approach shot short of the final green.
American Jason Bohn was also hanging tough at -18 and he too was praying for a mistake from the leader.
And both men got it.

All three players went back to the 18th tee and found the fairway with their drives, but with the Irishman first to takle aim at the green McDowell had the opportunity to ratchet up the pressure with a good approach.

Bohn and Knox could only make par, leaving McDowell to hold his nerve and secure his first victory since 2013.
